Community outreach is an integral component of the medical fitness design. With dramatically rising rates of overweight and obesity, “healthy living” needs to become a way of life for more people in our community. Making healthy food choices, staying physically active and maintaining a healthy weight are essential to good health and are key areas of focus for the educational services provided at the LIFT Wellness Center.
LIFT Wellness Center offers an array of free monthly health education programs to provide the essential knowledge and encouragement it takes to implement a lifestyle change. With our large education suite, featuring a state-of-the-art demonstration kitchen and cutting edge technology, we have the perfect place to accommodate groups ranging in size and interest.
Most of our educational classes are provided, free of charge, to our members, with many sessions also open to the community. Check out the Happening Now or Community Calendar section of our website to see what we have planned. Follow us on Facebook to stay connected.
Centrally located, the locker rooms at LIFT are filled with upscale amenities and all of the conveniences of modern technology.
Lockers are available to accommodate most any need, including free daily-use lockers along with monthly rentals. Each locker provides a hanging rod, 2-prong hook and a specially divided area for shoes. The lockers are equipped with digital combinations that are both easy to use and convenient. Monthly locker rentals are available in half and full sizes and can be rented at the front desk. A full locker is $15 per month and a half locker is $7 per month.
With spacious shower stalls, large bathroom stalls and carpeted floors in the locker areas, members are able to experience luxury with special attention on safety. Each shower stall is equipped with a pull-down seat, two sets of wall hooks and a soap/shampoo combination gel. We have handicap accessible facilities, as well with a larger space, safety rails, bench-type seat and a hand-held shower. In order to keep our carpet looking and smelling its best, we ask that you please dry off before entering the carpeted area.
No locker room would be complete without a swimsuit water extractor. After a water class or activity, members are able to easily dry their swim suit by placing it into a device that allows you to take home a nearly dry swim suit by simply placing the wet suit into the machine and activating the spin cycle.
Hair dryers and Dyson hand dryers are provided as a convenience to our members. Large vanity areas are spaced throughout the locker rooms to provide all the comforts of home.
We provide towel service to our members and guests at no additional cost. The towels, which are located at various locations in the facility, can be easily returned into any one of the towel returns located in the locker rooms, aquatics area and on the fitness floor.
Please help us keep our facility beautiful by placing your used towels in one of three towel bins located in the locker room.We ask that you are respectful of other memberss and our cleaning staff by not leaving your towels on the floor.
Inside of both our men's and women's locker rooms, you will find a spacious steam room easily accessible after a hard workout. The steam rooms are kept at a warm, ambient temperature, and the steam is infused with the aromatic fragrances of eucalyptus to add to the relaxation.
A steam room has a physiological effect on the body that is very similar to that of a sauna. The steam opens up pores and breathing passages, increases metabolism and elevates the heart rate, and then the body begins to sweat. This can result in health benefits, especially when a steam room is used safely and effectively.
Also just inside the men's and women's locker rooms are our relaxing dry saunas. The saunas work on the principle of generating abundant sweat to detoxify the body and relax the mind. The tradition of sauna stems from the centuries-old ritual of cleansing the body and soul.
Regular sauna use can bring a number of health advantages, including stress reduction, detoxification and glowing, healthy skin. Furthermore, sauna therapy relaxes muscles and inhibits sympathetic nervous system activity. Regular sauna users say that a "good sweat" provides an opportunity to indulge in positive thoughts and escape from everyday troubles.

Relax... You're in good hands.
Experience Massage Therapy, a form of healing and relaxation that has been around for centuries. Just about everyone can benefit from a professional massage. Massage involves the manipulation of the soft tissue structures of the body to prevent and alleviate pain, discomfort, muscle spasm, fatigue and stress to promote health and wellness.
Allow an extra 15 minutes for your first session so the massage therapist can ask you general health questions such as your reasons for getting a massage, current physical condition, medical history, lifestyle, stress level and area(s) of pain. Wear loose, comfortable clothes.
Your massage therapist will do everything possible to ensure that your experience is positive and rewarding. After being shown to the massage room, you will be given privacy to undress and a sheet to drape yourself. Prior to the massage, your therapist will discuss the use of a lubricant, light oil or lotion that is good for your skin and absorbs well. During your massage, you will lie on a comfortably padded table, and your therapist will undrape only the part of your body being massaged, helping to ensure that your modesty will be respected at all times.
Relax and experience your massage in a peaceful and comfortable environment. Requests for specific areas of focus are welcome.
View our brochure for more information.
A 24-hour notice of cancelation is required.
Appointments are scheduled based on therapist availability. For more information or to schedule an appointment, please see the front desk or call 731.427.7048.
